*Please note that in October 2017

there will not be live music*

We will start again in few weeks!

Join us from 8pm on the 1st Saturday of each month in Cavern where the hugely talented (and equally handsome) Mick Heslin performs.

‘Bluesman Mick Heslin is a contradiction in terms. For a musician in his 20’s he plays the blues with the heart and soul of a man far beyond his years.

Born and raised in Dublin, Mick is ; a hard-walkin’, hard-livin’ guitar man in the grand tradition of blues. Possessed of a furious fingerpicking style and a soulful voice, Mick has been impressing and confounding audiences in bars and clubs around the capital since he was 16 years old.’ Reverb

The 2nd Saturday of each month sees the fabulous Richie Ros play solo in Cavern, from 8pm.

Here’s a little bit about Richie:

‘Richie’s life story is a testament to the human spirit and to the cathartic healing nature of music. Despite the trauma of his early years Richie has refused to let the past define him. Richie had no control over the events in his life but the one thing he did have control over was his attitude.’

Now Richie’s debut EP has been released with tracks including “Fairytales”, “Strange Mentality”, “To Infinity and Beyond” and “Sweet Serenade”. Richie’s voice was not heard as a young child but now as an adult he wants to share his music and voice with the world.

Join us from 8pm – 11pm every 3rd Saturday of the month in Cavern where the beautiful and extremely talented Ria Czerniak will be performing.

Check her out here:

And here’s a little bit about her:

Ria Czerniak is one to watch. October marked the release of her debut album ‘Souvenir’. Featuring an array of guest musicians, she has independently and lovingly crafted this 12 track album, with all the artwork drawn by Czerniak herself. Finding humour in even the most tragic tales, it is clear that lyrics are a hugely important part of this artist’s work.

With a face and name that seem anything but Irish, Ria is in fact a Dublin born musician, whose grandfather arrived from Poland shortly after World War II. She hails from an extended musical family.

‘A Dublin songstress whose earthy music owes a debt to Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen and – just to keep things interesting – Kate Bush. With a sparkling debut, under her belt, Czerniak has honed a distictively rootsy style.’

Sweet jesus, a voice full of honey’ Dublinyduende

‘Her keenly-observed vignettes on life on the social and emotional frontier reveal a genuine talent. Well worth keeping an eye on….’ Colm O’Hare, Hot Press

Join us from 8pm on the 4th Saturday of each month when The Dublin City Rounders play in Cavern. Brothers Rohan and Al make a delightfully eccentric duo who’s act includes banjo, double bass, guitar and vocals.

They’re are an old-timey, Americana, blues, ragtime and western swing duo from Dublin, Ireland.
